Ready 4 Hoops

This weekend we completed the final steps in assembling the boys new basketball hoop. The boys were all so excited to have the chance to finally play a good game of hoops. Tanner and Parker we so funny they both insisted that they put on their NBA jerseys, I guess they both like being official. Thanks Grandma Rose for the super cool basketball hoop!
Look at LeBron James...great shoot!

Carson is LeBron and Kobe's biggest fan! He loves cheering them on in his court side seat.

Kobe has a great look at the basket..he looks, shoots and scores!

Merry Merry Disneyland!

This year after we thought it would be fun to celebrate the Holidays at Disneyland. We took the boys and spent four days at Disneyland and California Adventure enjoying fun rides, great parades and AMAZING decorations. I think it is safe to say that everyone would agree that Disneyland is a magical place. However, during the Holidays it is SPECTACULAR and full of magical surprises every where you look.

Disneyland's Castle looking absolutely beautiful!

Carson could not take his eye off of Donald Duck...I loved seeing the characters in their cute little Christmas sweaters, so cute.

Carson and Parker loved riding Dumbo! However, Tanner informed me that he was way too old to be riding Dumbo this year.

Goofy and Micky looking very festive!

Ready for tea?

The parade was spectacular and the boys loved watching it! Disney does such a great job with all the little details.

Nana, Carson and I waited to see Minnie Mouse. Carson was super excited to give Minnie Mouse nucks.

We are so proud of Parker for taking the 3D adventure through a Bug's Life with us...great job being brave Parker.

Look out here we come!

For the first time ever Tanner, Papa and I rode the Tower of Terror...it was so much fun! The Tower of Terror is now one of Tanner's favorite rides.

This trip was full of new adventures. Tanner and I rode Screaming California and it was a lot of fun. I was so impressed with how brave Tanner was, he never got scared or nervous at all. Great job Tanner!
Once again Mulholland Madness Parker's most favorite ride. He rode this ride a total of 13 times over the period of 4 days.

As you can clearly see with the ear to ear grin on Parker's face he loved every single ride on Mulholland Madness.

This trip was full of new adventures for all of the boys, Parker took his first flight on Soaring Over California. In years past he completely melted down when the suggestion of this ride was muttered. However, this year with a bit of encouragement he took his first flight and loved it! Parker has now informed us that Soaring Over California is his second favorite ride.

Small World looking absolutely beautiful all illuminated!

Carson loved his adventure through Small World, he danced during the whole ride. Another favorite ride of Carson's had to be Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage, he loved seeing all of his favorite Disney movie characters. Much to our surprise Carson was tall enough for Gadget's Go Coaster in ToonTown, he was a bit nervous while ridding but requested to go again when it was over.

On our last day we celebrated Papa's 63rd birthday and he was able to enter the park free of charge...super cool. We had a great time together as a family at the happiest place on the earth and are so grateful that we were able to enjoy the magic of Disneyland at Christmas time.

Fun With Grand Papa and Grandma

We were thrilled that this year Grand Papa and Grandma joined us for Christmas. It was so much fun spending a few days together celebrating Christmas. We had a lot of great food, spent time teasing each other, laughing, playing Wii, playing catch, skateboarding, watching movies, playing games and even drug Grand Papa to the mall, who knows when the last time that happened.

Carson loved touching Grand Papa's ears...what a silly boy.

Tanner loved having Grand Papa and Grandma watch him practice with his new skateboard that Santa gave to him.

We all loved trying out our new Tony Hawk Wii Skateboard...Grand Papa always loves finding fun toys for all the kids for Christmas.

Parker and Tanner where excited to have Grand Papa join them over at the driving range to hit a bucket of balls.

Ready set, let it rip!

Carson loved playing Wii with Grandma. We discovered that he can almost win a ping pong match all by himself, which is a first. Carson has always just held a remote never really playing any games, only playing in his mind. I guess all the times he has watched his two older brothers play he has really been paying close attenuation and putting all the knowledge into his memory bank. Thanks for coming joining us for Christmas Grand Papa and Grandma, we all had a great time!

Christmas Day Hold Up!

Tonight at Nana and Papa's house after we all exchanged Christmas gifts we were surprised with a Nerf ambush. Nana and Papa had successfully wrapped up 8 Nerf guns for some gold old fashion family fun. It was so much fun to see everyone running around the house hitting each other with these Nerf balls. All of the boys had a blast and it is now a new Christmas family tradition.

"Pass over all your cookies or someone is going to get hurt!"

Parker and Tanner really getting into the spirit of robbery while holding these powerful weapons.

"Stop and put your hands up in the air!"

Tanner is ready and loaded with a full tank...look out!

"Hand over all your Wii remotes and you will not get hurt!"

Look out Jacob is armed and dangerous!

What a beautiful looking Christmas tree, I love seeing the twinkle of the lights it is truly magical!

Carson was really interested in Jacob's new keyboard. He played with this little keyboard for about 15-20 minutes and was not interested in opening any of his own gifts. I guess we now have an idea for his birthday that happen to be in just a couple of months.

I never realized that we had a little Beethoven living with us. Carson had a blast playing different tunes on the piano. Carson was so cute while he was pounding out his tunes, he would turn the pages in the song book and rock back and forth to the beat. Thanks for a great evening full of great food, laughter, and new memories that will last with us for a lifetime.

Christmas Eve

Tonight we had a fabulously Christmas Eve celebration at our friends the Gargano's. The evening was filled with a great fillet mignon dinner with all of the great trimmings, a personal visit from Santa, making candy decorated trains, superb cookies and the kids opening up some special gifts from the Gargano's.

Keri, Carson, Jacob, Parker, Tanner, Tyler, Gary and yes Santa is underneath all those boys!

Santa talking to all the boys, each of them were spell bound.

World famous Gargano cookie tray, which happens to be one of my favorite things about Christmas!

Candy decorated trains...all of the boys had a great time making these special creations. Thanks so much Aunt Kelly for the great idea!

Carson is loving every minute of his special tickle time from Gary!

Parker reading a few of Carson's new books.

All bundled up and ready to head home after a fun field evening at the Gargano's. Thanks so much for a wonderful evening, we all and a great time!

Top Photos From 2009

In no particular order here are the top photos from the year 2009. These photos all tell a story and helped our family create memories that we will be talking about for a lifetime.

Carson bringing the heat while playing a friendly game of catch with his Dad. I think that it really helps to have two older brothers to watch because this little boy already seems to know just what to do.

Tanner going down the drain to retrieve the BYU football.

Carson showing his disapproval of the texture and feel of the grass. What is it with our silly boys?

Tanner taking his Yankee T-ball game rather serious. Great job Tanner!

Parker developed a love for playing baseball and needed to get a quick game in before heading off to church.

Carson taking his first steps.

Carson also found out that after he learned to move he could really get into some trouble. How could I get mad at this cute little face?

Tanner graduated from Pre-Kindergarten...he is getting to be such a big boy.

Carson loved going for rides in the jeep.

Look, Parker is on two wheels. Great job Parker!

Mark and I enjoyed a few days alone without our three amazing boys in the beautiful city of Chicago.

Parker learned to hit home runs over our fence...he is now a real slugger and loves to play home run derby.

Tanner taking the ball to the net to score one of his many goals while he played on the Dolphins.

Parker doing his daily work for ESPN!

Carson showing all of us his game face.

Tanner lost a total of 4 teeth in the year of 2009 and was able to officially sing the song; "All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth."

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree!

Today Parker had his preschool Christmas singing program. He did a great job singing the songs and looked adorable in his tree costume.

Parker was super happy to be singing for his family!

I wanted to get just a picture of Parker by this cute snowman and Carson jumped into the photo...could not be any cuter if you ask me.

After singing the Christmas songs Parker completed a few projects, it was so fun to be able to spend the day with him at school.

Parker teachers gave him this cute little bear for Christmas, by the look on his face I think he approves!

Obsessed!

Over the past couple of weeks Carson has become obsessed with Wii. He is insistent on caring around his own Wii remote and has even taken it with him while he is taking his naps. Each and every day this is the first thing that he wants to do and begs like a puppy dog to try and get his way. The funniest part of his passion for Wii is his remote happens to be broken but in his mind he is really playing the games. When Tanner and Parker are at school he begs by the TV for Wii and the second they walk into the door from school he is all over them requesting to play Wii. This week we had a play date with some friends and the whole time we were in the toy room he happened to be yelling; "show Wii, show Wii!" I think that it is safe to say that we might have a real problem on our hands, after all it is not really an age appropriate activity for a 21 month old child. Tanner and Parker informed me that Carson needs to have a Mario birthday party when he turns two years old in March because that and balls are really the only things that he likes with exception to Barney.
Ready to rumble sporting his new game face!

This happens to be Carson's favorite seat in the house while playing Wii...I think it is safe to say; "Like father like son."

Game Face

Carson has started doing the funniest face, Mark will ask him to show us his game face and this is what we will see. However, it is so much better in person because his whole body shakes for about 15-20 seconds and he bites down on his teeth so hard that I am afraid that he just might chip one of them if he is not careful.

Carson is ready for some action, bring it on!
